If the idea of teaching young children kickboxing conjures up images of little ninjas that are going to be able to bully other kids – be prepared to be very disappointed!!! Young children can rarely show enough focus to to learn any real kickboxing moves. Much more likely, your child’s energy levels willl soar in our one-of-a-kind kickboxing and gym class. Children will be able to let off steam through interactive games and various obstacle courses combined with kickboxing. They are learning to exercise as part of a larger group, run around and, star jumps. Most classes will involve very little kickboxing as taught to adults and older children. This is a wonderful form of exercise to get the heart pumping and for keeping kids fit. Kickboxing/gym promotes strength, flexibility, co-ordination and body awareness. Children are taught to try their best and not be the best.
